Sneak Peek At Our Guest Speaker for Convention
Sometimes we all need a little help.
It could be for the smallest tasks like making breakfast or learning how to make a Facebook page.
It could even be for huge tasks like deciding where to go for graduate school or learning how to start your own business.
Either way, there’s no shame in reaching out to snag a little help from our peers.
That’s why we’ve reached out to Emmelie De La Cruz, the guru of business.
This Afro-Latina whirlwind of success pulled herself up by the bootstraps. After being laid off, she proceeded to manage her own business, the Branding Muse, an organization that strives to help college students, young entrepreneurs and other professionals revamp their personal brands. She currently uses her experience as a digital strategist to deliver cutting edge advice to young adults working to stay competitive in the job market. Best of all, she’s honest. Emmelie De La Cruz will not tell you the journey is going to be easy.
No. It takes hard work to build an empire.
And, yes dear readers, she is well on her way to establishing her estate. Moreover, she wants to share her journey with anyone who asks. She will gladly share shortcuts, advice, and tips on how to be a better professional, whether this is through her book, Make Yourself Marketable: The Ultimate Personal Branding Planner, her blog, or in person.
Yes, my fellow sisters. In. Person.
Emmelie De La Cruz will be our guest speaker at our annual Convention in New Orleans this June. Get excited!
